GOgraphEX: MGI Gene Ontology Graph Explorer
Sets of graphs that make exploring GO and other OBO ontologies and annotations easier.
Annotation Graphs
MGI GO annotation graphs
MGI GO graphs
This set of graphs presents a GO
annotations made to individual mouse genes by GO curators at
MGI.
This complements the presentation of GO annotations in text and tabular form.
MGI Protein Super Family (paralog) GO graphs
This set of graphs presents experimental GO annotations made to mouse gene paralog sets by GO curators at
MGI.
This collects GO annotations made to all members of the protein
super family for the purposes of comparison of individual member annotations.
GO Comparative Graphs
- MGI for the mouse genes
- GOA for the human genes
- RGD for the rat genes
In order to
emphasize a comparison of literature curation, we remove IC, IEA, IGC, NAS, ND, NR, RCA, TAS and ISS evidence codes from the annotation files.

Mammalian
Phenotype (MP) annotation graphs
MGI MP graphs
This set of graphs presents MP
annotations made to alleles of mouse genes by curators at
MGI.
This complements the presentation of annotations in tabular
form.
Mouse
anatomical dictionary (MA) annotation graphs
MGI MA graphs
This set of graphs presents a sample of annotations
made to expression data for mouse genes by curators at
MGI.
MGI EMAP graphs for developmental stage-specific expression data
